Ein trockener Mund ist einfach mehr als nur unangenehm. Für viele Betroffene ist Mundtrockenheit ein massives Problem: Sie klagen über verstärkten Durst, Geschmacksstörungen oder Schmerzen beim Kauen und Schlucken. Er lässt die Zunge gleiten, dadurch ist Sprechen möglich – um nur einige der wichtigsten Funktionen zu erwähnen.
